Apprenticeship as an electronics technician for automation technology (m/f/d)

During the apprenticeship, you will install and maintain systems for the automation of production processes, along with their corresponding control and drive systems. The training follows the Dual System and lasts for 3.5 years. At Torgau-Kuvert, you will learn to modify systems according to operational requirements and assist production staff in troubleshooting.

• Analyzing the function of automation systems and their interconnections as well as modifying and expanding systems
• Programming complex controls and regulations and visualizing processes
• Installing and configuring components of automation technology as well as devices, sensors, communication, and operating systems
• Capturing, transmitting, and processing measurement data
• Connecting individual components to automation devices and integrating them into higher-level systems
• Commissioning and monitoring of automation systems and associated drives
• Repairing existing systems involving test software and diagnostic systems, optimizing and expanding them as needed

• At least a very good qualifying secondary school diploma
• Good or very good performance in mathematics and physics
• Technical understanding and manual skills
• Good English skills
