Collecting, storing and evaluating data - in order to optimise processes with the experience gained and to improve our services for you: what sounds so simple is a highly complex requirement that takes on a central role for the present and future in every international group of companies.
The Mayer Group is consistently pursuing the path it embarked on seven years ago. After installing and using the SALES CLOUD as an efficient CRM tool, the SAP Analytics Cloud is now replacing the previous Business Warehouse in order to present a seamless and complete picture of all business-relevant process data at all times. An innovative ERP system with all important modules in one system landscape - this investment with the conversion to S/4HANA was at the same time the starting signal for the successive cross-divisional digitalisation of one of the leading European groups of companies in the area of manufacturing and sales of shipping and packaging solutions. "State of the art technology, permanent involvement of all departments and, last but not least, the founding of our own business division mayer-digital for the development and expansion of in-house expertise mean a further unique position with a forward-looking view.
The recently installed SAP Analytics Cloud combines AI-supported predictive analytics and planning functions in the cloud environment. This means that the data - like that from the Sales Cloud - is accessible from anywhere and can be accessed via a browser or the SAC app on mobile devices. The preparation of the real-time data is compact and intuitively visualised: in addition to standard graphics such as tables, bar and line charts, extended graphics such as waterfall or radar views, driver trees and heat maps are also available. With the user experience always in the foreground, SAC offers views tailored to individual needs in the form of clear dashboards (stories). From controlling to purchasing, from financial accounting to sales and project management: all business areas will benefit from the upcoming implementation - and thus all partners and customers of the Mayer Group. The go-live is planned for May 2021.
And even after that, the Mayer Group will continue to digitise, because we are already tackling the issues of tomorrow today - in order to keep our performance promise at all times. Now and in the future
